Charming Timber House Stays True To The Views And Its Beautiful Location
Set on a slice of country carved into the hillside in Ciudad Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, this beautiful timber-clad structure is one of iii-holiday homes designed to take total advantage of the bounding main views. The other ii houses are clad in stone and respectively glass, the choice of materials giving each one a unique identity. The Timber House was designed by studio MM++ architects and completed in 2018. The architects predictable the fact that the panoramic views toward the ocean might become obstructed by future constructions and designed the house in such a way to allow information technology to optimize the viewing experience. They did this by raising the business firm on a platform and giving it a vertical spatial arrangement.
The internal spaces are organized into two main volumes. One features a high ceiling and a mezzanine level, with big windows at the front and stone cladding at the back. Information technology opens upwards toward an exterior deck with views of the bounding main and nearby hills. The second book is a suspended box-like structure clad in timber. It houses the outset floor of the house, with ii-bedroom suites. Big louvers offer information technology privacy without completely blocking the natural light or views. The social area includes the usual combination of living room, kitchen and dining expanse and highlights the panoramic views while also creating a seamless connection between the indoor and the outdoor.
